Graeme Dearden This is one of those jazz albums that stuck out immediately when I heard it. It's easy for jazz music to just blend into a backdrop of similar sounding jazz music, but also easy for jazz music that prides itself on being innovative to end up completely over-indulgent and try-hardy. This managed to stick out in just the right way. It's just too good to pass. Favorite track: Crying.
